a. Battalion Commander
(1) The BN Commander has the overall responsibility to authorize, distribute, and
oversee operational procedures regarding GSA -leased vehicles. Authority for domicile -to-
duty (DTD) rests with the BN Commander or his designated representatives. Safety of the
passengers and drivers is of the highest importance. Personnel will obey all speed limits,
drive defensively, and avoid aggressive driving habits such as tailgating, excessive lane
changing, and inappropriat e interactions with other drivers. Be aware that such inci dents
