4-2. Accident Prevention
a. Vehicle accidents and injuries cause personal hardship and cost the government
significant resources, including medical expenses, compensation, and repair or
replacement of equipment.
b. Adequate planning is essential for the efficient, economical, and safe operation of
the RRB fleet. Commanders and personnel at all echelons must ensure adherence to an
energetic motor vehicle safety program.
